Hi there....
i am having a problem connecting from my Java application to Oracle 8i db. I'm using jdk1.2.2 and have download the latest version of JDBC-OCI driver 8.1.6 but still got problem. I've set the CLASSPATH and the PATH accordingly. Could anyone please help me to solve this problem.

i'd suggest using the thin driver.
'classes12.zip'
in jdk1.2.2 there's folder named ext
under jre/lib/ .. copy your driver to the
folder without setting the classpath coz
it'll be dynamically load..
