I am running Oracle 8.1.6 on Win 2000
I had 2 services running.
Go to Control Panel, Admin Tools and Services
In there you will see ORACLEService<sid> you picked
I accidently removed the wrong service using some software.
How do i get this service back? I had my databases associated with this service.
HELP PLEASE......

I haven't done this myself, so maybe I'm wrong (meaning - test on a test servr first, do not hold me responsible for any damage/issues). But I would delete the other service as well, and then add them using oradim. Check the documentation for what you would use, but it would look something like this:
oradim -new -sid <SID> -intpwd <INTERNAL PASSWORD if used> -startmode auto -pfile <Location of init.ora>. Feel free to mail me if you have any problems.

Hope it helps
Gawie
