Hi All,

I'm trying to invoke a clean up script which deletes all the trace and the audit files after 'X' days . But the problem is when I run the script it's asking for the instance number as we have multiple instances running on the server , only when I enter the instance number , it's deleting the older trace files.

Kindly find the attached script and let me know where I'm wrong .

Thanks,
Raj

It is not your script that ask it is your .profile, change it accordingly.

I meant .bash_profile (read your script) and nobody can help you as we have not this file.

In addition, this is NOT an Oracle-related question.

You can have a custom file that will list all the ORACLE_SID and make your script read the file
or
just read oratab file.
