Hi, not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, but here goes my question:

I've installed Informatica 8.6 on CentOS Linux. Problem is I can't login on the adminconsole site. Now I've point my URL to

https: //mortonlx:6001 /adminconsole/

Then it points to

https: //mortonlx:8443 /adminconsole/

Now, I assume to enter here the login of the admin prompted during the installation along with the node/domain/port. Is that correct? But when I enter the login I created ( mortonadmin ), I get this prompt:

[PCSF_10342] Exception occurred: [[AUTHEN_10000] The Service Manager failed to authenticate user [mortonadmin] in security domain [Native].].

Could anyone point me to what I might be doing wrong here? Thank you very much.

Hi,
when your creating domiain creation...
Enter Host name : (computer full name): port number (if its oracle 1521 is the port number)
Enter Database User:(we should create user in oracle , syntax is GRANT RESOURCE,CONNECT TO username IDENTIFIED BY password;
GRANT DBA TO username;)
Enter Connecting string: (to find connecting in oracle syntax is SELECT NAME FROM V$DATABASE)
click on test connection.
this way we can create domain, so please check these details are correct or not
and if its not open your admin console, please try this https: //localhost:6001 /adminconsole/
