I have downloaded 11g for Linux from oracle site comprising two zip folders. When i unzip 1st it become database folder containing runinstaller, when i unzip 2nd folder it become database (2) containing number of sub-folders.

I want to ask, Before installing should i merge both folders or keep as they are. If merging is required how should i do.

normally you keep the files just as they are, unless there is a readme in the first one that says otherwise.
