Did you unpack the zip files without any error ? Maybe some files are corrupted and you should download them again.
Don't you have any problems with running java applications on your pc ?
I think you should look for the log file, it could help to find the problem.

no error in zip file , no corrupt software and no problem with java applications but i noticed that one file is created in my temp folder while installer is crashed named hs_err_pid####.log
and the contents are as below.

after seeing this log file i have delete all my java sdk, java jdk, jre and jinitiator software from my machine. but still problem is'nt rectified.
Any idea now

I don't know what goes wrong. I just can tell that you can try to change the virtual memory size between 256 and 512 MB, you may disable the firewall and your antivirus software, and run the installation as administrator.
I remember I had similar problem and it was becouse of java on my computer. I was trying to uninstall it, install diffrent versions and nothing helped me. Well, I reinstall my OS and it helped, but I don't suggest you to do that, maybe you will find the solution.

Sorry that I have been so long in replying. Have you solved your problem?
Did you install each Oracle product into its own 'home'?
All I can suggest is deleting ALL of the Oracle products, delete the 'base' oracle directory, delete the 'base' oracle entry in the registry, reboot twice and verify that Oracle is gone from the registry, and then reinstall the various products. Start with Oracle 10g, set 'tns_admin' environment to point to 10g's 'tnsnames.ora'. Verify that SQL*Plus works. Make a copy of the 'tnsnames.ora'. Install APEX 3.2, verify that its starts and you can still use SQL*Plus. Make another copy. Install 6i reports and then 6i forms (order is important). Verify that forms 6i runs. Now install Developer 10g.
If this does not work you will have to contact Oracle support.
