Frank,

can the order of the displayed lines be changed to be DESCENDING;
Just the opposite as to the way currently displayed

Thanks for this forum in any case.

May I precise?
In descending order for time then ascending order for user with Anonymous at the end.
Or like now but with Anonymous at the end.
Not sure what will be more useful.

Michel

When I go to the screen which shows what users are doing
1) I never care about the anonymous users
2) the Users I wish to observe are ALWAYS at the bottom of the page.

so I would like to see the page displayed opposite the way it is currently displayed.
I would prefer to NOT have to scroll to the bottom to see that non-anonymous users.

OK, I've changed it from
ORDER BY alias, time DESC
to
time DESC

Let me know if it's better.

Not really, the main point is that we (BlackSwan and I) don't care/want Anonymous.
Something like:
ORDER BY decode(alias,'Anonymous','ZZZZZZZZZ',alias), time desc

Michel

May I precise?

In English, precise is only an adjective, not a verb. Please see the link below.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/precise

If you need to use a verb, you can substitute clarify or specify. Please see the list of common translations below.

Puis-je préciser? May I clarify?
Puis-je être plus précis? May I be more precise?
S'il vous plaît être plus précis. Please be more precise.
S'il vous plaît précisez votre question. Please specify your question.

Actually In My Opinion, it made things worse.

What about as below:

ORDER BY alias DESC

Yes, that's worse, because now the regular posters are spaced out within the anonymous posters. It would be best to have the regular posters at the top, but having them together at the bottom is better than having them all over the place.
