hi,
we are using dataware house of huge amount of data I want to take backup using rman so that I restore oracle instance and specific tablespace only not full database

RMAN backup can not be used to restore specific tablespace.

Actually we have some tablespaces containing source data, we need to backup using rman only these specific tablespace as size of data warehouse is large 40 TB we have limited space.
My question is can we backup using rman of the specific tablespace only(like system, users ,undotbs excluding user1 tablespace so that we can restore it in case of instance crash and up the instance in case of any disaster.
