As an Oracle Developer/Administrator, your role will include
• Developing packages and procedures to support ETL process;
• Developing views and triggers;
• Tuning SQL and loading process to identify potential tuning improvements (indexing, partitioning, etc...);
• Creating users and assign appropriate privileges;
• Performing/enhancing backup and recovery strategy using Veritas Netbackup and Oracle RMAN;
• Supporting application developers (ETL, BI, etc) in SQL writing and tuning;
• Creating/supporting a materialized view replicated application;
• Forwarding engineer database object DDL from Erwin and creating objects in the database;
• Developing Unix scripts that use SQLplus to access the Oracle database;
• Monitoring database to identify potential slow running SQL or high resource utilization SQL;
• Developing a performance and capacity plan including how to proactively determine if the system is capable of support future growth; and
• Supporting developers and testers in troubleshooting database problems.

To be successful in this role, your background should include:
• 3+ years experience as an Oracle database administrator in a large data warehouse environment
• Bachelor's degree
• Security+ Certification or willing to get one
• An active DoD Secret Clearance
