Hi

When i ping the device using obtool I am getting the following error.

Can anyone help how to resolve this error sdlt600 is the tapedrive.

ob> lsdev
drive sdlt600 in service
ob> pingdev sdlt600
Error: drive sdlt600 is in use by:
OB component Host Process
obtar mzmapnpo1 28752
observiced mzmapnpo1 28586

Problem & solution have nothing to do with Oracle RDBMS.

Try killing offending OS PID
