The first question to ask is what has changed and start from there. Some possible problems can be NLS environment variable has changed. You are running out of resources. What is your OS and Oracle version?

I am sure I have not changed anything. My OS is saloris and oracle version is 8.16.I started a shell on saloris.Every night it does export automaticly. Then I use mail to report the export result the next morning. That night the export utility do 80%,then failed.Since that night I get the error message above.

I had the same problem with my backups. I have Oracle NT 8.1.6.3 server. I had installed Oracle 8.1.7 client in a seperate home which is what caused the problem because the 817/bin path was before the 816 in the path statement. To get around this problem, I set the path statement to only the 816/bin directory and it backs it up fine.
