Loading data from a .xls file using sql loader [message #69723]

hi
i wanted to know how i can load data from a .xls file . i cannot figure out what the delimeter & stuff are. can i do it without converting it into a .dat or a .txt file.

Hello,

I had made a program some time back in Visual
Basic Script which transferred data from a XLS worksheet to Oracle Database.

If you can send me a sample of worksheet and
oracle table strucure, I can send you the vb project.

pblm defenition
---------------
1) i have stored all my datas in Ms access [[ for the past 2yrs]],now i want to migrate to oracle 9,if u could suggest any solutions for migration i wil be thankfull to u.
