Hi,

We are using Oracle 8.1.6 on Linux server.I am trying to import a table from a dump file taken the previous day which has the entire database export. I am gettint the following error during import:

IMP-00009: abnormal end of export file
IMP-00033: Warning: Table "COMPANY" not found in export file
Import terminated successfully with warnings.

The dmp file is 2.14GB. I have the log file of the export taken during the backup and it shows that the table was exported and export terminated sucessfully without warnings.

Can someone tell me what the problem is? Its Urgent.

Rgds.
Siddharth

Have you tried this command:

imp system/PASSWORD fromuser=SCHEMANAME touser=SCHEMANAME TABLES=COMPANY

Where SCHEMANAME is the same for both. Don't use FULL.
