I am University student from Malaysia. I really need your help for one question which related with my course work.
The question is below :

1.What are the different between svrmgrl , Sql*plus and svrmgr30 ?

For your question,

SVRMGRL - Server Manager - line command, which uses to manage database server e.g shutdown,startup, and so on.

SQL*PLus - a client tool to connect to database server. But in 8i version, the user is allowed to use it as server manager if your database is dedicated setting.

SVRMGR30 - similar to Server Manager, but i don't know it is Window or Unix version. either one.
