I was wondering I ran a import and it failed on some objects. I resolve the reason why it failed on these
now if i put in my parameter file ignore=n and rerun it will my import fail and not insert on the already created objects and continue creating the previous uncreated objects.

Set ignore=Y

This should resolve your problem if I understand your question correctly.

Yes, however it only cause duplicate rows if one or more columns of the table are NOT specified with the UNIQUE integrity constraint.

My suggestion is import the data into database first and if duplicate records do happened, just clean it out later.

remove duplicate values:

Unless someone else other there have a better suggestion.
