Could any one kindly tell me why i can not shutdown my database with imediate option (just only can shutdown abort) ?

There may a method for this i think so

please follow the steps

1. type regedt32 by invoking the RUN from start

2. get hkey_local_machine

3. get ORACLE key

4. home

5. get the SHUTDOWN_TYPE

6. change it to with i

7. close and save the registry

8. restart the database

Hope it will work
