Hello,

Does somebody know if the Oracle 8.1.7 client export tool be used for exporting an Oracle 7 schema. I read that the import tool is upwards compatible, but is the export tool also downwards compatible?

Yes!.. you can do it, but for this first you have to run exp7.sql(something like that) from rdbms/admin/

I dont know every steps, so for practical, please forgive me
