Hi.
Is there any way to connect to the sql loader from a remote client? I saw this answer in the message database, but I need a step-by-step howto... Installing admin toos on the client is ok, but how do I use the command line and "connect"?

http://www.orafaq.net/msgboard/serverutil/messages/2522.htm:
"if u have the database administration part loaded on the client machine, u can use the SQL*LOADER utility by passing parameters to it through command line. the only thing is that u can connect the database using connect string"

Thanks in advance...

use the connect_string, created using tnsnames.ora
(same way you connect to remote database in sqlplus).
sqlldr userid=scott/tiger@remotedatabase ......
