Hi,

Even I have tried this. It does take some time to complete. I aborted this process, then my oracle stopped responding to the commands.(DDL and DML statements).

Regards,
Ramesh.

information you have provided is not enough.
you are trying to configure JVM options.
whats the OS, Oracle versions etc?
check the logs, and look for any specific error messages.
to start with make sure u run these scripts as sys
and you have already set enought JVM specific paramters in the initsid.ora ( Java pool etc)
