Dear sir,

I have got a problem with my oracle database. The database server was crashed due to some irregular shocks(electric).

But fortunately we could get the files having “.dbf”, “.ctl” extensions. In other words we could get the data and the formats.

So, could you please tell us about how to transfer those files into another database. Since our database was crashed we could not export the database files so we would be much happier if you suggested something on this. The database at which it resides now has crashed.

Sincerely yours

Dipin Ojha
