When I Update a row in the table emp the entire block of the table emp will be copied to data base buffers or only the record.
normally reading will be done block wise in a table as i thibk, kindly inform me

all the blocks which contain data ( of the to be updated row)
will be read into DBBC . Updation will done in DBBC.
once commited..then the blocks will be returned
