Hi All,
We have copied a database with three schemas that have links across the schemas being synoynms, grants etc for another customer and now wish to change the schema owner names.

What is the best way to effectively rename the three users whilst keeping the grants, synoynms etc?

I was thinking of fromuser, touser or using Perl on the export file if possible (Oracle 817).

Any ideas?

u can create new users EXACTLY like the existing users.
and drop the old users.


Create database user like an exiting user (with exact privs)
