scenarii ?

export/import is not a "point-to-crash" recover.
U can restore an image of Ur database.

If someone drop a user, a table etc...
U can always restore this user or this table ( at the time of Ur backup ). If u did a backup 3 weeks ago ... u've got an user "3 weeks old" ...

If U crash the entire database .. the best way is to recreate an empty database then import "FULL" database.

So understand that ur options are limited by the frequency of Ur backup
