dear hay and adaab,
i am facing the problem. i have a two text boxes which one contain the data type of char and the other contain the datatype is number. i want to not write numbers in char datatype and chars in number datatype.please help me to send me query how i can validate this enteries at the time of insertion.

just simple use the to_number() function.
