I´m using Oracle 9.0.1 on linux system.

I made a export file and put the dmp direct on tape. Importing
data from the begin works well, but always occurs the
segmentation fault/abnormal EOF.

The DMP file on tape was made by the same machine and
database that I want to return and the log says that this ends
ok.

The export command used was :
exp userid=x/x file=/dev/nst0 log=/backup.log full=y

The import command is :
imp userid=x/x file=/dev/nst0 log=/back.log fromuser=a to
user=a tables=a rows=y analyze=n

The last time I need this I broke the DMP file in pieces (more
than 24 GB) and mount "on hands" a new DMP only with the
data - but this is a lot of work.

Any ideas ?

try relinking oracle and exp executables.
and
check your NLS_DATE_FORMAT env setting.
