sir
i have loaded oracle 8i on windows XP but there is problem first time i have well but when i restarted my system oracle is not working it is giving a message that oracle not found sometimes it is giving that TNS protocol adapter error

can u please solve this sir

set environment variable ORACLE_SID = yoursid and try again.
