What is the use of the FILE Clause in sqlldr?

The help says: "File to allocate extents from"

What does this mean? When should I use it?

TIA,
Debby

Please click on the link below for Oracle on-line documentation regarding the usage of the file clause in parallel loads only, for minimizing disk contention.
