Hello together,

Initial position: Oracle8i Enterprise edition release 8.1.6.0.0
two DB’s, production and test. Tables are alike on both
DB’s. In each table the columns are called differently. The
tables are consistently connected.

The problem: The test data bank is again to be filled up with data
from production. But only a small part. On a table a restriction is to
be made, which is the data of the other tables reduced and still
consistent.

Is there a possibility with the PL/SQL Developer Import/Export Tool?

What is the simplest method?

Thanks for the assistance.

are u looking to load data from DB1 to DB2 selectively?
Like only certain data ( like all employees workin as clerks ) to be loaded?
