Hi,

I have several Oracle 9.2.0 databases running on Sun Solaris.  Every one of my databases has a XMLDB integrated into it.  This is created by the dbca when the database is created.

I use http (for.e.g  http://oracleserver:8080/ ), I get a login where I type username 'scott' or 'sys' and give the appropriate password.   It lets me in to the XMLDB content on the database.

But the interesting thing is that, out of my 10 databases on the server, the http automatically connects only to one specific database (even though all of them are running XMLDB).  And the weird thing is that , its not even the first database in the listener.  Its somewhere in the middle.

So my question is , where and how does Oracle decide to select the database for XMLDB???  Is there a configuration file that contains what database should be used for a default (http://oracleserver:8080) ?

Thanks
