Hi,

is there any ressource in the web that provides a step by step tutorial for building a data warehouse in Oracle 9i?

I don't mean things about warehouse builder or other tools. I'm looking for real DML or PL/SQL statements and complex code examples.

Thanks

I'm afraid there isn't something special like that.

Look for this book!

"Oracle9iR2 Data Warehousing"
by Lilian Hobbs

Of course it's about OWB and Analytic workspace manager, but there is an example in it.

Together with the warehousing guide on oracle technet you have a chance to understand something more of all this crap.

If you want to know more about OLAP i would strongly recommend you to read a book on OLAP.I've personally gained a lot from it and i think it will be a great option for everyone. The book is available on Amazon & you can buy an e-book directly from the publisher by writing OLAPWorldPress@gmail.com.
