I am developing an application with VC++ and need to connect to a oracle data base and do some editing. I have no idia how to do this and appreciate if you can send me sample code.

You can use OCI API calls directly from c++ or you can write in pro*c and pre-compile into c/c++ then include that with your code.

Unfortunately I need similar help except on UNIX instead of Windows. Here are some links that will help; also there are samples in $ORACLE_HOME/.../demo/oci and proc
