Hi Guys,

I'm very new to the OCI and wanted to know the difference between Pro *C and OCI. As I know that Pro *C is used to emmbed the SQL statements with the third generation languages like C and OCI allows you to create applications that use the native procedures or function calls of a third-generation language to access an Oracle database server. So when to use OCI and when to use Pro *C.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Rahul
