Folks -

I am working on a project to supply a high availability solution for a database of 450 active users (about 60GB). We are providing them with the Logical Standby configuration (and that is designed and approved already).

What I want to know from you folks is if someone has done a case study in how much more time/processory consuming is logical standby (vs a physical one). We had done some experiments and found that it took about 90 seconds for secondary to take over once the primary was down in a physical stdby. I am trying to figure out how much would the time be if it's a logical configuration instead of a physical.

Please adivse ..
