Can anyone tell me the differeces between an apps report and d2k report.

What do you want exactly ?
If you know Oracle reports and are new to apps reports then you should read Oracle Applications developer's guide.

Both reports are created using Oracle Reports. Registraton and Implementation is different in Oracle apps.

Apps reports are the reports present in E-Business suite and D2K is a tool to customize or develop a new report for the applications.
