PO Approval Hierarchy [message #195261]

Dear Memebers,
We are newly implementing purchasing module.
I have a problem with Approval Hierarchy.
Let us assume that there are two employees 'A' and 'B'.
All the PO's created by 'A' should be forwarded to 'B' for approval.
To set up this can any one please guide me in detail including the navigation.

Dear Arun,
Before approval process u have to do certain setups like
1. employee creation
2. job and position assignment for the same employee
3. then fix the approval group and assignemnt
after fixing all above setups
goto purchasing resposnsibility > setups> personal > position hierarchy
a. give the Type of approval name
b. enable the primary hirarchy if not enabled for any one of the hierarchy
c. then give the start date
d. Save the details
e.now keep the cursor at position and query the top level piotion"B"
f. then goto subordinates here u cal the "A"
g. save the hierarchy
after saving goto request and run the "Fill employee hierarchy program"
