Hello all,

I believe that this is the right forum for my question.

I need to setup an Oracle concurrent program to run every 15 min from 8am till 8pm and every 2 hours from 8pm to 8 am.
Does anyone have any idea what is the best way to achieve this?

Thanks,Kudr

Dear Surya

I think you have to create another concurrent program with the same functionality and schedule it.

Dear Rajesh,

Once the request is submitted without sheduling it,you need to go for another one.

If not can schedule that CP in the above said form.

I think we are on the same page, if not let me know

thanks,
Surya

Dear Surya,

We can schedule the CP in the same form. But as you asked for, it cannot be done with 2 different intervals. For that you have to create another concurrent program with the same parameters and schedule it with different interval.

Thanks & Regards

you are right I agree with you

Different Interval is ok but how do we manage the timings from 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am where can we specify these things(I guess the CP has to run daily in this way, if not no issues). Do you think the start and end date fields will help us in this regard..... plz let me know more abt it..

Thanks
KK

Thanks All. I thought that there might be an option to use different concurrent managers.

Hi KK,

You are right...It is not possible to give the time in CP...May be we have to run the CP daily by giving the start and end date.

Thanks & Regards
Merlin Rajesh
