Hello,

Could someone tell me the exact difference between the Manual/Automatic creations in the autocreate form in Purchasing module.

Hi

If two requisitions have same item and same need by dates

Through Autocreate automatic, Po will be created with one line. (Based on the Profile Option. Use Need–by Date for Default Auto create grouping).

If Buyer needs two lines in Purchase order, we can create two lines through manual by selecting the two requistions lines.

Hi,

Regarding Auto create and Manual method ....

Consider you are creating a sales order of the type drop ship
and you need to have only one Purchase Order for the above sales order .. then you would better choose Manual method in Autocreate option in Purchasing ... for creating PO from requisition
