Duplicate Rolls in report [message #240447]

I am currently getting a duplicate row in the followng report. I have attached and highlighted in yellow. Please advise on how to fix in Oracle Reports Builder 6i. In my query I have select distinct....

Not sure on why the report is showing a duplicate row. Any advice will help.

I'd look at it if it wasn't potentially dangerous MS Word document. Could you attach something harmless (JPG, for example).

See attached file. I put it in notepad...I don't have .jpeg. All you need to do is scan the file before opening it to make sure there are no viruses.

Oh, so your Windows are shipped without the Paint program which would allow you to edit a screenshot and save it as a JPG? Shame on Microsoft!

Scanning your files for viruses is definitely something I don't have to do (and I will not do that).

But never mind our little chat; as TXT files don't support highlightning, could you point to those duplicate rows? I looked at the file and didn't find any.

If you run the underlying select statement "solo" in SQL*Plus, does that return duplicate rows too?

In Sql Plus it does not create duplicate rows.

I can't find any duplicates in the examples you posted, can you point us to them (linenumber or something)?

Edit: found them (in word highlighted, like Littlefoot pointed out, jpeg is a bit more accepted format for examples on this forum... please use it next time).

It looks as if the rows are sort of half-duplicated if the description is word wrapped over a page break. Report-guru's, it's up to you (I don't do Reports, just SQL & Discoverer), what's going on here?
