In your exchange SMTP server setup, do you allow relay at all, and more importantly, do you allow relay from your Oracle Application Server.

As per what i know with out that setup in the iAS, you will get that error..

There is a work around to it.

Run the report output to PDF and then use the UTL_SMTP package inbuilt into the SYS user of the Oracle Database (9i or 10g) to send the mail with the earlier PDF output as an attachment. If you use this function, you donot need to have any configuration set on the iAS and it allows any sort of mail to be sent via any SMTP server.

ENJOY Cool
