This may not be the correct forum but still,treat it as Urgent...Pl...
I could not import the DUMP from Oracle 8.1.7.2(on UNIX) to Oracle 8.0.3.0 on NT. The error is IMP:00069.
regading the could not find NAtional Characters's handle. After checking the NLS_characterset on Unnix databse ,I have change to US7ASCII on NT also,still the problem persists.
NLS_LANGUAge setting at UNIx is american_america.US7ASCII.

always export and import from / using the lower version.
set the env. setting for DATE format and try again.
