I have 4 node cluster and standby dataguard rac ( 2 nodes ).
I want to have the primary and standby have a 5 mins recovery time period i.e i do not want the dataguard to depend on transaction volume for it to recieve archive log. ( datagaurd in maximum performance mode). Is there a script to switch logs every five minutes on the Primary RAC? help.

But we want the transporting of archive redo logs from the primary to be every five minutes to the standby. Not to depend on when the transactions filling up the archive logs. We had a situation where there was litte transactions in the log and this did not swithc until after 3hrs when more transactions feeled up the log. We do not want this.. we want every five mins to switch logs.
