The search algorithm does not give matched results.
It gives jumbled results. Kindly add some code to make search criteria more accurate.

Thanks

For example , i searched for ora-600 error and got every error post but ora-600.
I don't know what search criteria they have used.

What is ora-600?

But I think you are right, the search seems to ignore the number you provide, because also a search for ora-00600 (The actual error code) returns every post containing ORA

Why there is a difference in site level and forum level search engines as they both search the forums?

You must be a real coding hero.
copy-paste is the solution for everything.

then why did not that site engine implemented in forum search engine?
Just copy paste the code.

Are you telling us that you are volonteer to write and maintain the site code?

I really don't know much about front-end programming.

But why the search varies at site or forum level?

Search engines are very specialized and complicated beasts. That's probably why so many sites don't have any and why Google is such big hit. Anyway, here are the differences between the forum and site search engines:

Forum:
- Index forum posts on the fly (can search posts immediately)
- Simplified search logic to keep resource utilization to a minimum
- Custom made for searching forum messages
- Cannot handle that many documents

Site search:
- Can handle a huge volume of documents
- Supports more complicates searches
- Index documents one a week (to resource intensive to index on week days).

I hope that explains it.
