the customer is using command
Alter system fluch shared pool and connection of the oracle 10g database at that time breaks with a Java product.
Same product was utilized in Oracle 9i however the same command was not causing any issue.
There is no error in Alert log file and morever no such error at the front end just 'TASK TERMINATED'.

kindly reply me at ankushchawla03@gmail.com

The customer must not use this statement, there is no reason to do it.
Remove the privilege to do this from your customer.

Thanks for reply.we need a workaround we cant ask him to not use this command. As he was using it in oracle 9i without any issue. Is there any reasons why the flushing of SQL Statements in 10g is causing a disconnection

Regards
Ankush

Maybe it depends on your application and why/when it returns this as TASK TERMINATED is NOT an Oracle error.
